Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, soon after he was discharged from Lucknow’s Lohia Hospital.

The 79-year-old MP from Mainpuri was brought to Gurugram in a chartered flight on Monday night after his health deteriorated. India Today reports that Yadav has been shifted to the ICU.

Yadav was discharged from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Monday morning, where he was admitted when he complained of uneasiness and weakness.

The doctors found his sugar levels were high and he was also suffering from acute hypertension.

According to reports, Yadav’s health deteriorated in the evening.

Following his discharge from Lohia, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called on Yadav at the latter’s residence to enquire about his health.

Adityanath also presented a coffee table book on the Kumbh Fair to the SP patriarch.

“Met former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav at his residence and enquired about his wellbeing. I pray to God that he regains good health,” the CM tweeted following the meeting.

 

 

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam’s younger brother Shivpal Yadav were also present during the meeting with Adityanath.
