According to the police, the incident occurred near the Raju Duplex under the jurisdiction of the Gorakhpur Police Station limits.

Police investigation suggested that the man, Deepesh Rathore first shot dead his business partner Shakti Kohli with a pistol.

After that he shot himself dead with the same pistol.
Both ran a beauty parlour in partnership. It is surmised that they entered into a dispute over some issue, which culminated in the fatal incident.
Police have launched investigations to ascertain the exact cause behind the incident.
