On Sunday, at a rally in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) supremo raked-up another controversy after he made calls for “Modi-mukt Bharat”.
In a scathing speech, which was full of criticism and rhetoric, Thackeray touched a number of topics, mainly targeting the BJP and PM Modi. “The country is fed up with the false promises made by (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi and his government. All opposition parties should come together to get rid of the BJP-led NDA government to ensure a Modi-mukt Bharat,” he had said.
