Nadda accuses BJD of importing outsider for Odisha’s leadership
People have to remain cautious as BJD thinks there are no leaders in Odisha. The manner in which outsiders are being patronized by Naveen Patnaik, is a matter of grave concern, he said.
Amid talks between the BJP and the Janata Dal (Secular) over seat-sharing during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met former prime minister H D Deve Gowda.
Gowda was accompanied by his son and JD(S) Karnataka chief H D Kumaraswamy and senior party leader H D Revanna.
Later, in a social media post on ‘X’, Modi praised the former PM for his exemplary contribution to the country’s progress.

“Always a delight to meet former PM Shri HD Deve Gowda, Shri HD Kumaraswamy ji and Shri HD Revanna Ji. India greatly cherishes Deve Gowda Ji’s exemplary contribution to the nation’s progress. His thoughts on diverse policy matters are insightful and futuristic,” he said.
