‘Meri Yatra Atal Yatra’ brings life and legacy of Atal Bihari Vajpayee to the Delhi Stage

On the 101st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Pacyon Foundation is set to debut on Thursday “Meri Yatra Atal Yatra,” a solo theatrical tribute, the organization said in a press release today. The Pacyon Foundation is a group dedicated to youth empowerment.

The performance, scheduled for December 25, 2025, at the historic Teen Murti Bhavan, offers an immersive exploration of the life, poetry, and political philosophy of one of India’s most revered statesmen. The production weaves together Vajpayee’s celebrated speeches and evocative poetry to reflect the “Atal spirit” that defined his decades-long career.

Known as a “man of the masses,” Vajpayee served three terms as Prime Minister and was the first non-Congress leader to complete a full five-year term.

The play aims to go beyond political milestones, focusing on the core values of leadership and humanity that Vajpayee championed. Through this cultural storytelling, the Pacyon Foundation seeks to inspire the next generation to rediscover his vision of a developed, inclusive India. The choice of Teen Murti Bhavan as the venue carries deep historical weight.

Originally the residence of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, the complex now serves as a center for historical research and houses the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, a museum dedicated to honoring all of India’s Prime Ministers. The event coincides with Good Governance Day, established in 2014 to honor Vajpayee’s commitment to transparent and citizen-centered administration.
