He said Pinarayi Vijayan’s ten-year rule has ruined the economy of Kerala. Kerala has become the state with the highest unemployment rate in the country, witnessed the highest price hike, and a deplorable situation in the health and education sectors, he said.

“As the ten-year Pinarayi Vijayan regime comes to an end, Kerala has become a state with the highest unemployment rate in the country, with government employees not receiving salaries and pensions regularly, with a lack of basic facilities, and with the health and education sectors in ruins,” Rajeev Chandrasekhar said.
Stating that the state is saddled with a debt of Rs 5 lakh crore on the heads of 3.5 crore people, the BJP Kerala chief said that this debt is affecting the new generation.
“The LDF government did not keep its promise to increase the welfare pension to Rs 2500. It also did not keep its promise to increase the support price of rubber to Rs 250. Why is the school not being renovated for children instead of insurance? Is insurance promised because 75 percent of schools are unsafe? He also said that clarity should be provided on this matter,” he said.
