Soon after receiving the information, Hatia DSP Pramod Mishra and Dhruva Police Station in-charge reached the spot. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was also called in to examine the room and collect evidence. After the inspection, the body was sent to RIMS, Ranchi for post-mortem.

DSP Pramod Kumar Mishra said, “Initial inquiry suggests that the jawan had been under stress due to some family issues. However, the exact reason behind the suicide can be confirmed only after the post-mortem and detailed investigation.”

Police have registered a case and further investigation is in progress.
