Another Army soldier was on Sunday killed in sniper firing by Pakistani troops in Naoshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu.
A spokesman of the Army said the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing in the Naoshera Sector on the line of control (LoC) around 2.45 pm in which Naik Gosavi Keshav Somgir was critically injured. He later succumbed to the gunshot wounds.
Naik Somgir, aged 29 years, belonged to Sri Rampur Village in Sinnar tehsil of Nashik district in Maharashtra and is survived by his wife, Yashoda Gosavi.

A soldier belonging to Samba district of Jammu was killed on Saturday in similar sniper firing by Pakistani troops along the LoC in Rajouri. A soldier and an Army porter were killed last week in firing from across the LOC.
