Twisha’s second postmortem conducted
A team of four doctors from AIIMS New Delhi conducted a second post mortem of deceased Twisha Sharma’s body at the AIIMS Bhopal on Sunday.

Teams from the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), AIIMS Bhopal, and Madhya Pradesh Health Department have been deployed to collect random samples of water from the Bhagirathpura locality of Indore, where 17 deaths have been reported from consumption of contaminated Narmada river water supplied through household taps by the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).
A team of scientists Dr Gautam Chaudhary and Dr Pramit Ghosh from Kolkata arrived in Indore. As per Indore Collector Shivam Verma, the team would collect samples of drinking water from Bhagirathpura and conduct scientific investigations.

Other teams of doctors and scientists are also engaged in collecting water samples and interacting with residents and patients to assess their symptoms and problems.

Meanwhile, a 17th death was also reported from the city on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Om Prakash Sharma (69), a retired policeman. He was admitted to a private hospital with symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting, and dehydration, but he died during treatment.
