In his write-up, Environment Minister Yadav emphasises that India’s Mission LiFE reframed traditional practices like Tamil Nadu’s eri tank systems and Rajasthan’s johads as conscious acts of planetary service, underscoring that real sustainability begins with nurturing, not negotiations.
PM Modi praised Yadav’s article, saying it showcases India’s achievements in wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability.
Mission LiFE, launched by PM Modi at the Glasgow Climate Conference 2021, aims to promote environmentally friendly lifestyles and tackle the global climate crisis. The initiative has garnered international support, with world leaders endorsing India’s efforts to address climate change.
