Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi said on Friday that India will not exercise restraint next time if Pakistan continues to support state-sponsored terrorism, and will do something to make it think whether it wants to exist on the geographical map or not.

Addressing troops at Anoopgarh under the Western Command on Friday, General Dwivedi said, “This time we will not exercise the restraint shown during Operation Sindoor 1.0. We would take far-reaching action that would make Pakistan reconsider whether it wants to continue to exist on the geographical map.

“If the neighbouring country wants to maintain its position on the map, it has to stop state-sponsored terrorism,” General Dwivedi said.

He asked the troops to be on ready mode, saying, “So, keep yourselves well-prepared. ‘Agar Parwardigaar chahenge; Bhagwan chahenge; Wahe Guru Chahenge toh bahut jaldi aapko mauka milega!’ Good Luck.”

The Army Chief said, “The motive behind my visit here was to see our readiness in case Operation Sindoor 2.0 takes place… I am confident that if we get the chance, we are fully prepared.”
