As many as 313 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the country during the last 24 hours, as per the data of the Union Health Ministry released on Saturday.
The total Covid caseload of the country rose to 4,50,23, 461 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
According to the data, of the new cases, 138 cases were reported from Karnataka, followed by Maharashtra 62 and Kerala 26. It also included the new cases of infections.

Seven cases were reported from the national capital.
Three more people succumbed to the disease during the said period, taking the death toll to 5,33,428. Two deaths were reported from Karnataka and one from Maharashtra.
On the other hand, 600 people recuperated from the disease. The total recovery stood at 4,44,87,992. The active cases in the country stands at 2,041.
