Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday took strong exception to the shameful act of Youth Congress activists during the ongoing AI Summit at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The Chief Minister said, “Today, the youth wing of the Congress Party attempted a shameful incident at Bharat Mandapam. An attempt has been made to tarnish India’s image globally, and we condemn it. These people want to play games at the expense of the country. At an event attended by people from over 100 countries, they are trying to spread chaos by creating such disorder. Every Indian should condemn this incident. Strict action should be taken against those behind it.”

Indian Youth Congress activists protested against the India-US trade deal at the AI Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on Friday. The activists took off their T-shirts and chanted slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “The PM is compromised.”

Several videos of the demonstration have also surfaced.

A crowd of 15-20 activists are seen holding white T-shirts. The T-shirts feature photos of PM Modi and US President Donald Trump. The text reads, “PM is compromised.”

The Indian Youth Congress shared a video of the protest on the social media platform X and wrote, “The truth cannot be suppressed behind the glittering stage of an AI summit. When corporate interests trump national interests, and when foreign policy is clearly lax, protest becomes a duty.”
