In a sharp reaction to Yogi Adityanath’s Pariwar Development Authority (PDA) remark on his party in the state assembly on Thursday, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said the Uttar Pradesh chief minister himself is an outsider.
“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is himself a migrant. He calls our PDA the Pariwar Development Authority while he too has come from the same. If his uncle was not in the Gorakhnath Peeth, he would not have come from Uttarakhand,” he said.

Speaking to the media here at the Sanskriti School in Chak Gajaria here on Thursday, Akhilesh Yadav said, “This government is against development. Their vision is only to loot. Inflation and corruption has increased manifold, foreign policy is at a standstill.”
He said children’s education is being attacked – “G for Gadha (donkey) is being taught” – all this is part of the government’s conspiracy. The government has no vision except loot in the name of development, it is against development.”
The SP president said, “The BJP wants to avoid its MLAs, and does not want to answer their questions. Being a copycat, our chief minister works on how to copy what has been decided in Delhi. Staying awake for 24 hours is in-human and the public understands this very well”.
“Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressways have turned into potholes. The markets alongside Lucknow-Agra Expressways have been allotted to their own people,” he added.
He alleged, “The chief minister joined the BJP only for the elections, hence he is not its member anymore. Forget about 2047, the internal fight will start even before 2027. The public has come to know that they have no vision. When injustice was done to Phoolan Devi, Netaji Mulayam Singh Yadav got her released and made her an MP. The public knows those whose ideology was involved in her murder.”
“If you are dreaming of a developed India, why is there no concrete plan for pets? Why is no sympathy shown to dog lovers? The government has to understand that every section of society is important,” he said, adding, “BJP’s vision is to spoil every good thing.”
