Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that he would look into the demands of the ASHA workers in the State on priority basis.
The Chief Minister said it when a delegation of the ASHA Workers met him on Friday and urged the Government to frame a policy for them, besides hiking their honorarium.
The ASHA workers, who are mostly engaged in remote areas have been raising their demands to hike their minimum wages, since long.

President of the union, Satya Ranta urged the Chief Minister to look into their demands, keeping in consideration their contribution in the fight against COVID, in rural belts of the State.
Appreciating their role in the implementation of Government health schemes at grassroots level, the Chief Minister lauded them for their efforts of working whole-hardheartedly during the pandemic in the rural areas of the State.
