According to the order, Ramraj Singh Gurjar was suspended with immediate effect and attached to Police Line Bhind.
A large number of farmers had started reaching the centre from 3 AM today, as the centre was closed consecutively for three days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday due to government holidays.
A police officer said that in view of the huge crowd at the centre in Lahar, the administration had deployed force.
When the token distribution started at 11 AM, Head Constable Ramraj Gurjar suddenly started raining sticks without any provocation on the peacefully standing farmers while asking them to sit down on the ground.
