Embattled Indian businessman Vijay Mallya on Tuesday denied all allegations against him and said he has enough evidence to prove his case in the court.

"I deny all allegations, I have enough evidence to prove my case in court. I have nothing to say. I have not eluded any court," Mallya said ahead of his hearing at the Westminster Magistrates' Court in London.

The court will inform Mallya about the timetable to be set by the judge to hear the arguments for and against his extradition in what is referred to as a "case management hearing".

Indian agencies will also bring to the notice of the court about the 'Dual Criminality' of Mallya and prove that his action to defraud Indian banks not only attracts sections of Indian law but also various sections of the UK Fraud Act 2006.

Earlier in the day, Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs, VK Singh had said that Mallya will be brought back to India soon but he refused to comment on the exact 'time frame'.

"He is in the UK. There is a treaty between the UK and India, so they are examining documents. Once they decide, based on our documents or seek clarifications from us, based on that, we can bring Mallya back, but can't fix the time frame," he had said.

The former liquor baron, whose now-defunct Kingfisher Airlines allegedly owes more than Rs.9,000 crore to various banks, had fled from India to UK on 2 March 2016.
