Hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board, this festival promises an unforgettable experience amidst the scenic beauty of Haiderpur Wetland, showcasing a diverse range of avian species thriving in their natural habitat.

The festival will begin at 7 am with an enthralling bird-watching expedition led by expert naturalists. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the mesmerising array of birdlife inhabiting the wetland, providing a unique insight into their ecology and behavior. Additionally, newcomers to birdwatching can partake in informative workshops aimed at enhancing their understanding of avian life.

UP Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said on Saturday, “We are thrilled to host the Bird Festival at Haiderpur Wetland, which will provide a platform for individuals to connect with nature and promote the rich bird biodiversity and eco-tourism of Uttar Pradesh. There is huge potential in eco-tourism and adventure tourism in Uttar Pradesh for which the department and the government are committed to developing tourism facilities in these destinations.”
