There was anger in a series of tweets after Patidar leader Hardik Patel posted a picture on Twitter in which he is seen riding a motorcycle and talking to India Today journalist Rahul Kanwal, who is riding pillion. Both of them are without helmets!
— Hardik Patel (@HardikPatel_) December 9, 2017
Twitterati was quick to spot the traffic offence and people immediately started demanding registration of an offence. The Twitter users criticised Rahul Kanwal as well as Hardik Patel for not following the traffic guidelines.

In the video that was aired on India Today TV channel, other two-wheelers in the background can be seen and none of the riders is wearing a helmet, as if helmetless driving is not an offence in Gujarat.
Even security staff can been seen clinging on to vehicles behind the motorcycle of Hardik Patel.
Here are some reactions on the Twitter:

Helmet wearing is for ordinary law abiding citizens which does not apply to self proclaimed VVIP politician Hardik Patel & self proclaimed VVIP journalist Rahul Kanwal. https://t.co/n3DMjud1eb
