Another pregnant woman dies in Kota Hospital
A young pregnant woman succumbed to post surgery complications on Sunday after a minor operation at the Kota Medical College Hospital on May 6 earlier this month.
According to police sources, six youths were seen stranded at an outcrop in the river bed, the water level in which was rising fast and continuously.

Five youths are feared drowned in the surging Chambal river along Nimoda Hariji village in the Kota district of Rajasthan Monday afternoon.

The trapped youths went into the spating river to perform worship at a nearby temple in Nimoda HariJi village along the bank. Some of them were on fishing expeditions. Suddenly, water discharge from upstream increased causing a fast rise in water level submerging the rocky base they were having shelter at.

Nobody could immediately reach out to help and rescue them by negotiating through the strong current in the river. Five youths swept in the strong current while the remaining one was seen signalling and yelling for help.
Later, SDRF sleuths and locals managed to rescue him.
In the Etawah region too, the Chambal was in spate, overflowing beyond the banks at many places. The river was flowing 3 ft above the Mandawara bridge.
