The Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) Test report and the Polygraph Test report of the infamous Shraddha murder case, touted to be one of the most sensational murder mysteries of the year has been received by the Delhi Police and if sources are to be believed, the DNA of Shraddha’s father has matched with the samples collected from the forest areas of Mehrauli.
However, the Delhi Police have remained tightlipped on whether the DNA of Shraddha’s father matched with the samples collected from the forest area and said that the reports obtained are helpful in further investigation.
Addressing a press conference at the Police Head Quarters, the Special Commissioner of Police, Sagar Preet Hooda said that the investigating team have obtained the DNA Test report from the CFSL, Lodhi Road and Polygraph Test report from the Rohini Lab in Shraddha murder case.
He said that the investigation is still in progress and both the test reports are very much helpful in further investigation.
According to a police source, the investigating team of Shraddha murder case had collected 13 bone samples from the Mehrauli forest area on the instance of the accused Aftab Amin Poonawala. Further to match the DNA of the samples, police took DNA samples of the father of Shraddha and handed it to the CSFL team for DNA match.
