Over the past 150 days, the Commission has conducted a series of all-party meetings, including interactions with recognised national and state parties. These sessions serve as a platform for constructive dialogue, enabling parties to share their suggestions and concerns directly with the Commission.
Recently, the ECI has held similar interactions with several recognised national and state parties, including the Bahujan Samaj Party (May 6, 2025), Bharatiya Janata Party (May 8, 2025), Communist Party of India (Marxist) (May 10, 2025), All India Trinamool Congress (July 1, 2025), and the Samajwadi Party (July 3, 2025).
The meeting with the NCP delegation focused on discussions around electoral processes and soliciting suggestions for further strengthening the electoral system. The ECI’s initiative is in line with its broader vision of enhancing the electoral process within the framework of existing laws, ensuring meaningful engagement with all stakeholders.
