The development comes ahead of the counting of votes for the Assembly Elections in Bihar.

The counting of votes across all 243 Assembly constituencies will begin at 8 am on Friday, November 14. The results are also likely to be announced on the same day.

The Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 were held in two phases on November 6 and November 11.

In the fray are the JDU-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan. Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraaj Party is also trying its luck in its first Assembly elections.

Almost all the exit polls have predicted a victory for the ruling NDA alliance. The Mahagathbandhan, as per the exit polls, is likely to finish a distant second.
