Many people came to open spaces in residential buildings as tremors were felt for a while.
“Many of the residents of our building came to the common ground area.
People were checking their phones constantly for any updates,” said a local resident of Sector 22 in Noida.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in Pakistan and it originated under a depth of 33 kilometers from the surface, stated the National Centre for Seismology.
According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), a fire call was received at around 3 am in the morning from the Kanchan Kunj Madanpur Khadar area. Total 11 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
A 20-year old man was arrested while a hunt is on for the remaining three, after four people opened fire outside a club in Shahdara, Police said on Sunday.
