The Congress on Saturday strongly condemned the government’s handling of the situation in Ladakh, particularly the arrest of Sonam Wangchuk under the National Security Act. Demanding a judicial investigation into the deaths of four innocent young men and the serious injuries inflicted upon many others in Ladakh, Kharge emphasized the need to revive and restore democratic institutions and democracy in the region.

The situation in Ladakh has been tense, with protests and demonstrations taking place over the government’s handling of the region’s demands. The Congress has been vocal in its criticism of the BJP’s policies in Ladakh, accusing the party of failing to deliver on its promises to the people of the region.
