MP CM congratulates Indian women’s football team
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has congratulated the Indian Women’s Football Team on winning the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Championship 2026.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said on Sunday that the ‘Bhavantar Yojana’ is an expression of the government’s reverence towards farmers, and the Bhavantar amount is the rightful entitlement of farmers and a symbol of the government’s resolve for their prosperity.
Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the state-level conference organised in Jaora, Ratlam district, under the Soybean Bhavantar Payment Scheme. On this occasion, he transferred Rs 810 crore as Bhavantar amount to more than 3.77 lakh soybean-producing farmers with a single click directly into their bank accounts. This included 12,386 farmers from Ratlam district, who received Rs 20.74 crore.

According to state government officials, including today’s transfer, the government has so far paid approximately Rs 1,300 crore as Bhavantar amount to more than 6.25 lakh soybean-producing farmers across the state.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 33 development works worth over Rs 145 crore. These included the inauguration of 12 works worth over Rs 18 crore and the foundation-laying of 21 works worth over Rs 127 crore. He said these works would prove to be milestones in making Ratlam district beautiful, clean, and exemplary in civic amenities.
The CM emphasised that the state government will never lag in ensuring farmers’ welfare, and the new year 2026 has been dedicated to the welfare of farmers.
He announced that next year, an Agriculture Festival will be observed, and the joy of farmers’ prosperity will be shared. “Modern farming methods, agricultural extension services, and new technologies will be taken to villages so that farmers can make the right decisions at the right time to further improve their agriculture”, the CM said.
The Chief Minister said that the promises made to the people of the state have been fulfilled.
He also said that Laadli Behna beneficiary women are currently being given Rs 1,500, which will be increased to Rs 3,000. He also said that the government will employ every needy and skilled youth in the state. More than 32 lakh farmers will be provided solar pumps, with up to 90 per cent subsidy on the total cost.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also released a booklet focused on the life of Dr Lakshminarayan Pandey, popularly known as the “Gandhi of Malwa.” He was presented with a memento by local public representatives.
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the agricultural development exhibition at the venue and welcomed the farmers with a shower of flowers.
On the demand of public representatives, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a modern outdoor–indoor stadium in Jaora. He also announced the establishment of a One Stop Centre in Jaora for short-term shelter for destitute women.
For the construction of a heritage building in Jaora and the complete renovation of a very old, dilapidated school, the Chief Minister announced Rs 2 crore each. He said that daughters will not lag in education and announced the construction of new girls’ hostel buildings in the villages of Shujalpur and Piploda of Ratlam district.
