Encounter breaks out between security forces, terrorists in J-K
An encounter broke out on Thursday between security forces and infiltrating terrorists in north Kashmir's Keran sector of the Kupwara district.
A civilian was killed on Wednesday when Pakistani troops indulged in unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Naoshera sector of Rajouri district.

A civilian was killed on Wednesday when Pakistani troops indulged in unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Naoshera sector of Rajouri district.
The slain person has been identified as Bodh Raj (55) of village Deeing.
Army spokesman Colonel Devender Anand said that at around 12 noon Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing in Naoshera Sector resulting in fatal casualty of Bodhraj.

Indian Army immediately evacuated the injured for medical aid. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
Indian troops retaliated to the Pakistan belligerence in a befitting manner.
The Army authorities have promised all possible assistance and help to the family of the deceased, the spokesman added.
