The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the statue of the Father of the Nation, underscoring Gandhi’s timeless relevance in promoting peace, non-violence, and global harmony.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sai said Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals are not confined to India but continue to guide humanity across the world. “Mahatma Gandhi’s eternal message of peace, non-violence, and harmony is an inspiration for all nations,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister further highlighted that the statue of Gandhi at ‘Little India’ is more than a cultural landmark. “This statue is a symbol of India–Japan friendship and cultural bonding. It is a matter of pride for the Indian diaspora and a bridge that connects Japanese citizens with the great traditions and values of India,” he said.
