During his visit to South Korea, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai invited ModernTech Corp., a leading green mobility solutions firm, and UNECORAIL, a major rail maintenance company, to invest in the state. He said clean energy, sustainable transport and a stronger railway network are key government priorities, and partnerships with Korean enterprises could give new momentum to Chhattisgarh’s growth and infrastructure ambitions.

CM Sai urged ModernTech Corp. to establish an advanced EV charging equipment manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh, noting that the project would not only accelerate India’s clean energy transition but also place the state at the forefront of sustainable transport infrastructure. “This initiative will boost clean energy targets, expand modern transport facilities for citizens, and mark a significant step towards gifting future generations a clean environment,” he said.

The Chief Minister emphasised that such investments would generate large-scale employment for local youth, promote green technology skills, and extend sustainable mobility across both rural and urban areas. Officials present added that the proposed unit could create thousands of direct and indirect jobs and strengthen ancillary component manufacturing, positioning Chhattisgarh as an emerging hub for green energy.

During his South Korea tour, CM Sai also met Dong Pil Park, CEO of UNECORAIL, for detailed discussions on local manufacturing, technology transfer, and railway infrastructure development. Stressing the importance of advanced rail solutions for Chhattisgarh’s expanding industrial and logistics needs, the Chief Minister said UNECORAIL’s expertise would help modernise maintenance systems, strengthen the railway network, and enhance both industrial growth and public transportation.

The Chief Minister underlined that clean energy and sustainable development are central to Chhattisgarh’s policy framework. Calling on global investors to become partners in the state’s transformation, he said, “Chhattisgarh is committed to creating opportunities for business, industry, and employment while ensuring a sustainable future. Together, we can take the state to new heights.”
