“(A total of) 47 votes have been received in favour of the motion. There were 29 votes against the motion. Thus, this House passes the trust vote,” the Speaker said before adjourning the House till 11 am on Tuesday.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand and President of AJSU Party, Sudesh Mahto slammed the Champai Soren government for not answering questions raised on the corruption.

“Trust Vote happened on the basis of the members not based on the questions. They do not have an answer to the reason as to why this situation arose. The government was quiet on the questions raised on corruption…,” Mahato said.
