Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed strengthening bilateral partnership between the two nations.
Welcoming Minister Anand, PM Modi said, “Your visit will add fresh impetus to our ongoing efforts to deepen the India-Canada relationship.” He recalled his own visit to Canada in June this year for the G7 Summit, during which he had a highly productive meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Highlighting the growing cooperation between India and Canada, the Prime Minister noted, “Enhanced collaboration in trade, energy, technology, agriculture, and people-to-people ties holds immense significance for both our countries.”
PM Modi also conveyed his warm wishes to Prime Minister Carney and expressed optimism about their forthcoming engagements, underscoring the shared commitment to further strengthen ties.
