Left votes remain critical in Bardhaman Durgapur seat

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav predicted that the BJP will lose all the 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said Samajwadi Party will be victorious in the elections as the people are with his party.
Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a meeting of prominent leaders of youth organisations at the state headquarter of his party here on Friday.
He alleged that the BJP was playing with democracy by misusing power. Constitutional institutions are being weakened in the country as government agencies including the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax and CBI were being used to intimidate Opposition parties and defame the Samajwadi Party. Intimidation with bulldozer is the agenda of BJP.

“Every section of the society is angry with them (the BJP) and now they all want to get rid of the BJP government at any cost,” he claimed.
The SP president further said that today the future of the youth is in dark. “There is no assurance of bread and butter and employment. Samajwadi Party has been raising its voice for the youth. Thanks to the BJP, inflation is on peak.”
Yadav asked why farmer’s income was not doubled, why is electricity expensive. He lamented that not a single unit of electricity was produced during the BJP rule. Samajwadi Party leaders are being implicated in fake cases. The employment rate is shown at 4.2 per cent which is far from the truth,” he added.
