Union Cabinet approves India-UAE pact on economic corridor
The aim of the IGFA is to enhance the bilateral relations and to further strengthen the relations between the two countries in the ports, maritime and logistics sectors.
Samajwadi Party president and Leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav has blamed the BJP government at the Centre for the financial fiscio of a big industrial house in the country.
“The BJP government has ruined the country’s economy. It was showing the dream of making an industrialist the number one industrialist in the world. Everyone knows the friendship of the Prime Minister with that industrialist. Thousands of crores of government institutions were invested in the companies of that industrialist. Now he is drowning,” he told media persons in Moradabad on Saturday.
Yadav, without taking the name of the company or the Industrialist, said that the shares of these companies are falling in the stock market.
“The entire government and all the economic institutions are engaged in saving them. When so many institutions are engaged in saving an industrialist but are not able to save. So what will happen to the general public, businessmen and industrialists? The government should tell when will it send the responsible officers of LIC and other government institutions who invested money in that sinking company to jail?,” he questioned.
The SP president said that in Uttar Pradesh, an officer who used provident fund money of employees in DHFL Company was sent to jail and the action was taken against many others. “When will the BJP government in Delhi take similar action? The BJP is continuously cheating the public,” he said.
Questioning the Yogi Adityanath government at the coming Global Investors Summit( GIS), he alleged that the BJP government is now deceiving the public in the name of investors’ meet.
Yadav said that till date the government has not revealed how much investment came from the last investors’ summit.
“The truth is that no investment got off the ground. Where and which factory was set up in Uttar Pradesh. Like last time this government is lying this time too. The government is signing MoUs with those who are coming to meet them. Everyone is watching how an industrialist atmosphere is drowning in the state,” he added.
Regarding the budget of the central government, Yadav said that this is the farewell budget of this government. Inflation and unemployment have reached extreme limits. BJP does not have any policy to stop inflation and unemployment. Farmers, youth, small businessmen all are upset with this government.
Yadav, who addressed the media along with senior party leader Mohammad Azam Khan, charged that Azam Khan was harassed by the state government by filing false cases against him and his family members.
“In a democracy, no political family has suffered as much injustice as the BJP government has done to Azam Khan. The BJP government is misusing government agencies. In a democracy, opponents were never falsely implicated like this,” he slammed.
