The ECI said it implemented 17 ‘Bihar First’ initiatives focused on improving voter convenience, rigorous training of polling personnel, and technology-driven processes. These measures included a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) with zero appeals, resulting in a clean electoral roll of 7,45,26,858 electors. Additionally, remuneration for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) was doubled, EPIC delivery was expedited within 15 days, and 100% webcasting was ensured at 90,740 polling stations for transparent monitoring.

The press note said that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshibsupervised the polls through a dedicated webcasting facility. No discrepancies or malpractices were reported at any polling station, leading to zero repolls — a first in Bihar’s recent electoral history.

“These elections have set a benchmark for electoral integrity and voter participation in Bihar,” said a senior ECI official. “Our ‘Bihar First’ initiatives, coupled with the active involvement of voters, have resulted in a peaceful, inclusive, and transparent election process.”
