Bihar Assembly Election Result 2025: The incumbent National Democratic Alliance (NDA) swept the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, winning 202 of 243 seats. The Mahagathbandhan was decimated in the elections as the alliance could manage to win only 35 seats. Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraaj Party, which was contesting its first Assembly election, failed to open its account.
With 89 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single largest party, followed closely by Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United), which bagged 85 seats. Among the other NDA allies, Chirag Paswan’s LJP (RV) won 19 seats, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAMS secured five, and Upendra Kushwaha’s
