Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday claimed that the benefits of cow milk, dung, and urine are now scientifically proven, adding that cow products have shown positive effects in dealing with severe diseases like cancer.
He said it is also proven that homes plastered with cow dung reduce the impact of radiation.

The chief minister made the comments while addressing an event celebrating Govardhan Pooja at the Ravindra Bhavan here.

He said everyone knows the importance of cow dung manure in farming, and as a result, the world is once again accepting the significance of natural and organic farming.
“Our culture has taught us to express gratitude towards everyone. Today, by worshipping Govardhan and cattle wealth, we are sending a message of nature, environmental, and livestock conservation to the world. This is the gift of Sanatan culture,” Yadav said.
He said each of our traditions and festivals embody respect for nature and responsibility towards society, and Govardhan Puja is the best example of this, as it reminds us that harmony with all life on earth is the essence of living.
“Govardhan Puja symbolizes the thought of ‘live and let live’, and the sharing of available food and resources with society”‘, the CM emphasized.
Dr Yadav highlighted that the cow is the mother soul of Sanatan culture, and cow’s milk acts like nectar for our bodies.
“The benefits of cow milk, dung, and urine are now scientifically proven. Cow products have shown positive effects even in severe diseases like cancer. It is also proven that homes plastered with cow dung reduce the impact of radiation”, the CM asserted.
