Allahabad HC reserves verdict on petition of Codeine syrup scandal accused

The Allahabad High Court has reserved its judgement on a petition filed for anticipatory bail and quashing of the FIR by the prime accused in the Codeine-based cough syrup syndicate case, Shubham Jaiswal, and others.

The judgement was reserved by a double bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Achal Sachdev on Friday after arguments from all sides were completed.

Earlier, The high court, in an interim relief to the petitioners, had stayed the arrest of all petitioners in all the cases.
