All construction work related to Ram Temple in Ayodhya completed, announces Ram Janmbhoomi trust

In a significant announcement for devotees of Ramlalla, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra on Monday informed that all construction work of Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Mandir has been completed. The trust added that only works unrelated to the public like boundary wall, guest house, and auditorium remain underway.

“It is with great joy that we inform all devotees of Prabhu Shri Ramlalla Sarkar that all Mandir construction work has been completed. This includes the main Mandir and the six Mandirs within the precinct, dedicated to Mahadev, Ganesh Ji, Hanuman Ji, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, and Maa Annapurna, as well as the Sheshavatar Mandir. Flags and kalash (pinnacles) have been installed on these Mandirs,” the trust said.

Seven mandapas dedicated to Rishi Valmiki, Rishi Vashishtha, Rishi Vishwamitra, Rishi Agastya, Nishadraj, Shabari, and Devi Ahilya are also complete, along with the Sant Tulsidas Mandir, the trust apprised. Statues of Jatayu and the Squirrel have been placed inside the complex, the trust further said.

All arrangements and facilities for devotees have been fully completed. L&T is handling road construction and stone flooring, while GMR is developing the landscaping, greenery, and the 10-acre Panchvati area.

The event will also mark the launch of the BJP’s new campaign, sources had said. He will also review the progress of the Viksit Uttar Pradesh Abhiyan, which has received over 5 lakh suggestions so far.

A list of 6,000 to 8,000 invitees has been prepared for the religious event in accordance with the representation, according to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust chairman Nripendra Mishra, as per media reports.

The temple opened on 22 January 2024 after a religious ceremony. On the first day of its opening, following the consecration, the temple witnessed a rush of half a million visitors, and after a month, the number of daily visitors was counted to be between 100,000 and 150,000.
