The total value of properties and assets acquired by her reportedly exceeded her known sources of income by approximately ₹1.59 crore, the ACB sources said. Transactions linked to her husband were also detected in several accounts, they added.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered an FIR against former Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation Mayor, Munish Gurjar, for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to her known sources of income.
According to ACB officials, the FIR was filed at the ACB Police Station in Jaipur following preliminary investigations, which indicated that during her tenure as mayor—from November 10, 2020, to August 4, 2023 —Gurjar, in collusion with her husband Sushil Gurjar, allegedly accumulated assets worth around ₹3.15 crore.

During her tenure as mayor, Munish Gurjar was suspended thrice, though she was reinstated twice following relief granted by the Rajasthan High Court. However, the court declined to grant relief after her third suspension, which followed her husband’s arrest in a bribery case.
