AAP’s youth wing holds ‘Walk for Kejriwal’ in support of CM
The AAP's youth wing on Sunday organised a walkathon, 'Walk for Kejriwal', in support of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal under the 'Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se' campaign.
Harshdev Singh said that before taking any step to evict the poor people, the political leaders and bureaucrats should come clean on the issue of encroachment on Government land.
AAP leader, Harshdev Singh on Saturday asked the bureaucrats and political leaders to come clean on the issue of encroachment on Government land before evicting poor and marginalised people.
Singh said that poor and marginalized sections of the society were being harassed on the pretext of encroachments. He asked the former ministers and MLAs and bureaucrats to make thier positions clear on the issue initiating any action on the hapless, uninfluential villagers.
According to him, selective action against poor, indigent and homeless people was reprehensible indeed. Singh said that the AAP would oppose the double standards of the present dispensation alleging that a section of BJP leaders were reported to have usurped public lands and Government properties besides having regularized State lands under the Roshni Scheme. But there was no action against them.

According to him, a few BJP leaders illegally occupied Government bungalows but the present administration, rather than evicting them, was dismantling the residential units of the poor people.
He urged the civil society to come forward to expose and oppose the “authoritarian and dictatorial policies” of the present regime.
