Reviewing the arrangements at the digitisation centres, the CEO emphasised that the credibility of the electoral process depends on an accurate, inclusive and error-free electoral roll.

He directed officials to ensure that every eligible voter is included in the electoral roll and that no eligible elector is left out of the democratic process.

The deadline for completing the Special Intensive Revision exercise has been fixed for June 28. Gopalan stressed the need to complete all remaining work before the deadline to ensure that the electoral roll is transparent, accurate and free from errors.

Senior officials from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer and the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation accompanied the CEO during the inspection.
