Seven newly appointed judges were sworn in at the Rajasthan High Court here on Wednesday.
The new judges were sworn in at a brief ceremony held in Courtroom number one, where Chief Justice Kalpathi Rajendran Shriram administered the oath of office to judge-designates.

While Justice Sandip Taneja was sworn in as judge, Justices Sangeeta Sharma, Bipin Gupta, Anuroop Singhi, Ravi Chiraniya, Baljinder Singh Sandhu, and Sanjith Purohit took oath as additional judges.
All judges of the High Court Jodhpur bench were present, while the judges posted at the Jaipur bench attended the ceremony through video conferencing.
Earlier this week, Chief Justice Shriram was sworn in on Monday. Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade had administered the oath of office and secrecy to the CJ at a ceremony in Raj Bhawan in Jaipur.
With this new addition, the strength of judges in the Rajasthan High Court has gone up to 43, an all-time high figure. The sanctioned strength of judges in the High Court presently is 50.
