Nearly a month after the Sukma attack, three Maoists surrendered to CRPF personnel during an anti-Maoist operation in Chhattisgarh's Jagdalpur district on Friday, police said.

Bastar district Inspector General Vivekananda Sinha said the three Maoists were positioned in Sukma region, where 25 Central Reserve Police Force troopers were killed on April 24 in one of the worst ever Maoist attacks.

This comes after 30-year-old Hunga, posted in Darbha division's Katekalyan Area Committee, surrendered to police on May 4. He was working with the Maoists since the last five years.
