In a shocking incident, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 23-year-old man on the premises of a railway station in Maharashtra’s Thane district, officials informed on Sunday.

The accused is believed to have brought the minor girl to the railway station at around 5 p.m. and sexually assaulted her.

As of now, details regarding the victim as well as the accused have not been revealed.
The accused person has been booked under Section 137(2) (kidnapping), 64(1) (rape) and other relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita (BNS) as well as the POCSO Act, PTI quoted senior inspector Pandhari Kande of the Kalyan GRP as saying.
