The Embassy of Peru, in collaboration with Delhi Photography Club, presented a photo exhibition, Memories of Peru (1890-1950). The event, held on 23 March in the Capital, was attended by several dignitaries, including Blossom Kochhar, chairperson and founder of Blossom Kochhar Beauty Products Pvt Ltd.
The photo show exhibited 60 black-and-white photos by Peruvian photographers, who captured myriad aspects of the country ~ society and people; landscapes; and national traditions from the late 19th century and early 20th-century.
Held in the embassy premises, the exhibition paid homage to Peruvian photographers, including Max T Vargas, Martin Chambi, Juan Manuel Figueroa Aznar, Baldomero Alejos and Walter O Runcie.
