She trained herself for several weeks to shoot for the film to ace the role of a hockey player on screen. Indian former hockey player Sandeep Singh trained the cast for the film to help the film perfect their moves and make them look like trained athletes on screen.
We have got hold of a behind-the-scenes video of Taapsee Pannu training for Soorma.
The video shows Taapsee’s entire training from being an amateur to being someone who was responsible to truly take on the role of a sportsperson on screen. Here’s the video for you to see Taapsee’s transformation.
Taapsee took to her Twitter handle and shared the video with the caption, “Between my craziness n madness I learnt a little bit of this wonderful sport!”
She had earlier said Soorma was a dream-come-true for her to learn and play hockey. Her father was a hockey player back in college days and she always found hockey as inspiring.
The Sony Pictures film also features Angad Bedi and is slated to hit the theatres on July 13, 2018.
As the NEET protest movement intensified, Diljit Dosanjh urged authorities to listen to students, saying dissent should not invite labels or silence. His remarks came after clashes during the CJP's 'Sansad Chalo' march.
Amid the controversy surrounding the Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Satluj, the Central government, according to sources, is considering bringing OTT platforms under the purview of the censor.
In a separate video message, the minister said his commitment to Punjab and the country would continue, adding that his efforts were aimed at preventing conflict rather than fuelling it.
