The controversy regarding sexual harassment has been hovering over Hollywood since the last months of 2017. Women stood against sexual abuse on social media and started a trend with hashtag #Metoo. Media moguls such as Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey were accused of harassing women and had to apologise for that. Recently, James Franco was had same allegations imposed on him.

The actors attended the Golden Globes award in black to support the victims. Men wore #timesup pin to send a message to sexual predators. Recently, in an interview with BBC news, Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin confessed why such a movement can never happen in Indian film industry. She even featured in AIB’s video ‘It’s your fault’ which talked about rape and how it is women’s mistake. Kalki has again opened up about Bollywood and the whole dynamic which prevents women to talk about sexual misconduct.
