The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl is out. Makers launched the film’s trailer live on Facebook.

A mad and colourful riot of a trailer, Dream Girl opens with a rather unexpected entry of Ayushmann as “Sita” who later becomes Pooja, an imaginary friend that many want to marry, or date. Ayushmann is seen in a never sen before look, from doing stage plays as iconic woman characters of Hindu epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata to working as an agony aunt.

In one of the theatre scenes, he plays Draupadi and calls out to his fellow actors,” Kab tak aurton ki unki icha ke bager baatein rahoge tum, Mahabharata ke time pe #MeToo hua hota na, sabse pehle tum log andar jate.”( How long will you keep exploiting women against their will, Had the #MeToo movement happened during Mahabharata, all Kauravas would have gone to jail). A stand-out scene of the trailer that has seasoned actors play supporting characters.
