We bet until today you thought Avengers: Infinity War was the most ambitious crossover in history. But these memes by a Chinese fan will change that. Never in your dreams would you imagine Mahendra Baahubali with Black Panther, or did you? Well, after the release of Baahubali in China, a few film buffs created these memes merging Baahubali and Avengers and they are going viral.

Journalist Sutirtho Patranobis took to Twitter to share these memes taking rounds on WeChat. The tweet read, “Chinese WeChat users (used by nearly 1 billion) are having a good time with Baahubaali 2 and Avengers memes. Last week, it was reported that Avengers: Infinity War had crossed $1 billion worldwide, setting the record for the fastest film to reach the milestone.

The Disney-Marvel film brings together 22 superheroes to fight one supervillain, Thanos.

Anthony and Joe Russo have brought the story alive on the big screen with actors like Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Cumberbatch and Scarlett Johansson. The film also features Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman and Tom Holland.

Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion starred Prabhas and Rana Daggubati as the male protagonists. The film’s story is about the battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom between two brothers.

The films were directed by SS Rajamouli and also featured Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj.

Besides being the first Indian film to rake in more than Rs 500 crore, the franchise also received rave reviews in foreign countries including Japan and China.
