A veteran Bollywood actress registered a rape case against a Mumbai-based businessman at the Juhu police station on Thursday evening. The businessman was booked on rape charges and arrested on Friday. He will soon be produced in the court for the alleged accusations.
The case is being investigated. The actress had made a complaint about stalking and threatening against the same businessman on 30th January. The accused and the victim were acquaintance; however, some issues in their relationships made them grew apart. Though the actress stopped talking to him, the businessman kept stalking her. Even after few warnings, he continued the same. Eventually, the actress sought help from the police.
The accused has been booked under sections 376, 420, 465, 467, 468, 469, 471 and 504 in the Indian Penal Code.
